EFEKTIFITAS PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER PADA SEKOLAH ANAK USIA DINI: Studi PadaTK Islam Terpadu Al-Qalam Kendari

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the planning, implementation and assessment of character-based education in early childhood. From this research it can be seen that the character-based education planning can be done through; the annual program, semester program, making a plan weekly activities (PWA) and plan daily activities (PDA). For the implementation of the Early Childhood Education-based character, the learning process was implemented in three stages, the initial activity, the core activities around the end. In addition to the learning activities, character-based education is also implemented in additional activities that educational visits and sports and arts activities (extracurricular). This character-based education assessment following the vote on the learning process is carried out through four stagesnamely, assessment of daily, monthly assessment, assessment of the semesterand annual reviews. The results showed that the character education children receive in school tends to cause changes in children's behavior at home.

Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perencanan, implementasi dan penilaian  pendidikan berbasis karakter pada anak usia dini. Dari penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa Perencanaan pendidikan berbasis karakter dapat dilakukan melalui; program tahunan (PROTA), Program semester (PROSEM), pembuatan rencana kegiatan mingguan (RKM) dan rencana kegiatan harian (RKH). Untuk implementasi Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini berbasis karakter, dalam proses pembelajaran dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap yaitu kegiatan awal, kegiatan inti/kegiatan main dan kegiatan akhir. Selain dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, pendidikan berbasis karakter juga diimplementasikan dalam kegiatan tambahan yaitu kunjungan pendidikan dan kegiatan porseni (ekstrakulikuler). Penilaian pendidikan berbasis karakter inimengikuti penilaian pada proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan melalui empat tahap, yaitu penilaian harian, penilaian bulanan, penilaian semester dan penilaian tahunan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter yang diterima anak di sekolah cenderung memberikan dampak perubahan perilaku anak di rumah.
