The data analysis technique uses descriptive and inferential analysis after fulfilling the normality and homogeneity test requirements. Data in this case study was gathered through interview, observation, and artefacts. Data analysis indicates that the school has its own strategy in gaining the status of Adiwiyata school. The school designed short, middle, and long-term plan for the implementation of participative-based activity for school environmental management. The best practices at school include programs such as Friday in faith, Saturday cleaning, self-development, extracurricular and innovative work for students in terms of educational management. The school also invited parents and companies to get involved in participative-teaching program dealing with innovative activities and entrepreneurship. This descriptive study involved the population of grade IX students totaling 264 students from 9 classes in a junior high school. Applying cluster random sampling technique using the Slovin formula, a sample of 65 students from 3 classes was obtained. Data was collected through multiple-choice tests to measure basic knowledge of mathematics and essay tests to measure students' statistical literacy skills. The trial participants were 21 students of class X MAN 1 Konawe, the data collection instrument used a questionnaire, interviews, test questions, and observation sheets. Data analysis and product development trials consist of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The data in this study were obtained by using pretest and posttest. The collected data were analyzed using the normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis testing, and t-test techniques. The results of this study indicate that puzzle learning media is more effective than picture media in improving PAI learning achievement.
