Abstract

The current community service investigates how students at Wali Songo Islamic Boarding School (Pondok Pesantren) in Central Lampung Regency might overcome economic fatalism before to marriage by participating in pre-marital campaigning. The qualitative study methodology includes in-depth interviewing methods and student observations from the premarital advocacy program. According to research findings, premarital advocacy is beneficial in influencing students' beliefs about their financial preparedness for marriage. Financial management, future planning, and marital financial duties are all better understood as a result of advocacy programs. Other benefits of active involvement in premarital advocacy include enhancing financial literacy and inspiring students to prepare themselves for marriage better. The findings of this study have the potential to serve as a foundation for building more successful premarital advocacy programs that assist communities, educational institutions, and the government in assisting students in preparing for the financial elements of marriage.
