Student Perceptions of Online Learning in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era (Persepsi Mahasiswa Terhadap Pembelajaran Daring Di Era Pandemik Covid-19)
Abstract
This study aims to determine the forms of online learning in the Covid-19 pandemic era and to find out the perceptions of Biology Tadris students towards online learning in the Covid-19 pandemic era. This study uses qualitative research with survey methods with observation techniques, the determination of respondents is done by simple random sampling. The data sources in this study are divided into two, namely primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection methods consist of observation, interviews and documentation which will then be analyzed by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. Online learning forms during the Covid-19 pandemic were carried out both synchronously and asynchronously using web services and learning applications. Synchronous learning is carried out through video conferencing, lecturers and students meet and communicate in real time using the Zoom, Google Meet and YouTube applications. Asynchronous learning is carried out using the Google Classroom, WhatsApp and Email applications. The perception of Biology Tadris students at the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Kendari, towards online learning in the pandemic era is diverse. The obstacles that are often faced during the online learning process can be overcome with assistance from the campus and the government, thus making it easier for students to learn online.
