Use of Demonstration Methods For Improving Learning Outcomes of Islamic Religious Education Theme My Aspirations Becoming a Godly Child (Penggunaan Metode Demonstrasi Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam Tema Cita-Citaku Menjadi Anak Saleh)
Abstract
This study aims to improve student learning outcomes with demonstration methods. The research was conducted in class V SD Negeri 92 Kendari by implementing classroom action research. Preliminary observations show that student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education subjects have not yet reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria. The reason is the low creativity and independence of students, as well as inappropriate learning methods. This becomes the basis for conducting action research to improve student outcomes through the application of the demonstration method. The results showed that: 1) the learning sub-theme of Honest People Loved by Allah with the demonstration method could improve the teacher's ability to carry out the learning process for fifth grade students at SD Negeri 92 Kendari; 2) learning the sub-theme of Honest People Loved by Allah with the demonstration method can increase the learning activities of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 92 Kendari; 3) the learning sub-theme of Honest People Loved by Allah with the demonstration method can improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 92 Kendari. So it can be concluded that the learning sub-theme of Honest People Loved by Allah with the demonstration method can improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 92 Kendari. Based on the research results it is suggested: teachers should use the demonstration method because it can improve student learning outcomes.
