KONSEP AKTUALISASI DIRI PERSPEKTIF BARAT DAN ISLAM
Abstract
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk Islamisasi konsep-konsep Barat kontemporer terkait dengan aktualisasi diri yang telah tersekulerkan. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis komparasi antara pandangan filusuf Barat dan Islam, kajian ini menemukan beberapa poin. Pertama, aktualisasi menurut filusuf Barat adalah memiliki kecakapan dalam aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomor, namun masih bersifat materialistik. Kedua, potensi diri dalam pandangan Barat adalah hasrat seseorang terhadap fenomenologi. Ketiga, aktualisasi diri dalam Islam berbeda dengan Barat, tidak materialistik, tetapi mengandung nilai-nilai Islam yang sakral dan bisa mengantarkan individu pada kedudukan yang sempurna atau Insan Kamil. Keempat, Insan Kamil dalam Islam dapat diejawantahkan melalui aktualisasi potensi diri atau fitrah yang sama sekali tidak disentuh dalam konsep barat.
