Journal History
The Al-Munzir Journal, a biannual scholarly periodical, is published semiannually in May and November. Its inception can be traced back to the year 2009, when it was established under the patronage of the Department of Islamic Preaching at STAIN Kendari. Initially disseminated in a printed format, the Al-Munzir Journal was formally bestowed with the ISSN 1979-4894 on February 7, 2012. Subsequently, the journal underwent a digital metamorphosis, culminating in the acquisition of its online ISSN 2620-326X on March 21, 2018, under the supervision of IAIN Kendari.
In the wake of its attainment of SINTA Level 4 accreditation in 2019, Al-Munzir underwent a strategic realignment, directing its scholarly pursuits toward the domain of communication science. This reorientation is presently administered by the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Studies Program within the academic framework of IAIN Kendari.
