Al-Munzir  (p-ISSN: 1979-4894; e-ISSN: 2620-326X). is a scholarly journal that specifically focuses on the study of communication science. Since 2019, the journal has concentrated on communication studies, after previously serving as a publication for both communication science and Islamic guidance.

Al-Munzir accepts articles from national and international academics, researchers, journalists and students in the fields of Communication Science, Islamic Broadcasting Communication, Da'wah Science, Journalism, Public Relations, and Miscellaneous or Various multidisciplinary sciences related to communication studies.

Articles published in the Al-Munzir Journal include the results of scientific research, reviews of scientific articles, and responses or criticisms of existing previous studies.

The Al-Munzir journal is published twice a year by the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Adab, and Dakwah faculty of the Kendari State Islamic Institute. Articles submitted are original ideas and have not been published in any journal.

Call for Papers May 2026 Edition

Journal of Al-Munzir Volume 19 (1) May 2026 Edition accepts article submissions starting from 31st January 2026 to 11th  May 2026, and is planned to be published on 31th May 2026. 

Al-Munzir accepts articles from academics, researchers, journalists, and students, both nationally and internationally, on topics related to communication science, Islamic broadcasting communication, da'wah science, journalism, public relations, media studies, digital communication, intercultural communication, and strategic communication.

Additionally, the journal welcomes works on corporate communication, crisis communication, advertising, film and media production, information technology in communication, and other relevant aspects within the fields of communication and Islamic broadcasting.
