Kalosara: Family Law Review is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the advancement of scholarship in the field of family law. Published twice a year (March and September) by the Islamic Family Law Study Program, Faculty of Sharia, IAIN Kendari, the journal serves as a forum for the dissemination of original research, theoretical analyses, and critical reviews.

The journal’s scope encompasses a wide range of topics related to family issues and family law, including but not limited to: Islamic family law, comparative family law, customary and statutory family law, contemporary legal reforms, and socio-legal perspectives on family matters. It welcomes interdisciplinary approaches that integrate legal, sociological, anthropological, and cultural dimensions of family studies.

With a commitment to academic rigor and ethical publishing, Kalosara: Family Law Review aims to contribute to the development of knowledge and policy-making in family law, providing insights that are both contextually relevant and globally significant.
